Our 2017 State of the Conference Industry Report makes clear that attendees’ expectations of conference content is changing. For association professionals, this means that offering content in print and digital formats at the conference is no longer enough; attendees—and associations—recognize the added value that providing this educational material outside of the conference creates, as well.
The trouble is, using content in such a variety of ways complicates the job of managing and distributing it. Having to meet the attendees’ expectations before, during and after the conference complicates the job of the meeting professional.
